Our Lamar office in Springfield, Illinois is now hiring a new hybrid Account Executive (salary + commission) to help us bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Peoria, Bloomington and the surrounding areas.
The purpose of the Sales Account Executive is to meet and exceed sales objectives in their assigned territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified advertisers. An Account Executive (AE) is expected to use professional sales techniques and develop long-term advertising relationships that grow Lamar advertising sales.
This position will primarily involve working in the cities of Peoria and Bloomington, with additional sales responsibilities in the surrounding counties. Training will take place at the Springfield office and will require travel there most days during the initial training period. Additionally, weekly sales meetings are held at the Springfield office, so the candidate will need to be present there one day each week.
