Gabriel Issa, Lebanon’s Ambassador to the United States; presidential adviser Dr. Elias Bou Saab; and 18th District Congressman Darin LaHood will speak here October 6 at a program co-sponsored by the Peoria Area World Affairs Council (PAWAC) and the Itoo Society. “Why Lebanon Matters: Opportunities and Challenges for the Future of the Region” will be the focus of the event.
