The Color Purple, with a book by Marsha Norman and music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allee Willis, and Stephen Bray, is a stirring family chronicle following the inspirational Celie as she journeys from childhood through joy and despair, anguish and hope to discover the power of love and life. Though her string of unfortunate events, though, Celie learns that the most important thing is that she is a survivor, and that no matter what happens to her, she is still here. *Since the original submission on April 5, 2024, our Board of Directors has decided to change the time of our Saturday performances.
