Central Illinois Ballet and Artistic Director Rebekah von Rathonyi are proud to present this historically significant, inspirational and heart-rending story. Anne Frank, a Jewish girl hiding from the Nazis with her family in World War II Amsterdam, receives a diary for her birthday—and it becomes her closest friend as the world around her crumbles in unspeakable tragedy. NOTE: This production contains historically accurate scenes of Holocaust-related violence. It is not recommended for small children.
